Spring 2025 Fellows Recruitment

International Business Initiation (IBI) crafts fresh curriculum each semester, tailoring its content to the most up-to-date industry needs to help students grow in the ever emerging world. By joining the organization, fellows get to experiment their innovative ideas and bring them into life with a team of like-minded and ambitious people.

For the spring semester, 2025, IBI invites those who are self-motivated, creative, and explorative that are willing to improve relevant skills in their aspired industry using our Personal Development (PD) program. Please see the following application requirements and apply by February 21 (Friday), Korean Time.

Program Details

Personal Development (PD) Program focuses on nurturing industry-relevant skills and insights through e-learning, job simulation, and team-projects. By becoming a member at IBI, you will be assigned to an industry team, in which you will collaborate to meet the submission requirements and build a competent career portfolio together. 

General Eligibility

University in Seoul

Eligible programs: undergraduate, graduate, foreign exchange, and Korean Language Study.

English Speaker

Possess native-level fluency in English (Korean fluency is a plus).

Seoul Residents

Reside in close proximity to Yonsei University's Sinchon campus throughout the semester.

Strong Commitment

Attend general activities on Mondays (In person) and Wednesdays (Hybrid) at 7-9pm and deliver tangible results.

Teamworker

Swift and transparent communication skills with positive and eager attitude toward collaborative work.

Business Minded

Possess passion and curiosity for various business fields and connecting with like-minded students.

Admission Fee

Willing to pay 30,000 KRW club entrance fee upon admission.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all participations held in person?

Yes, all participations for Monday's general sessions are required in person. Wednesdays are usually dedicated for industry team activities, which could be lenient with the location depending on the fellow's availability.

Will I be able to select my teammates? 

No, executive members will assign you to a team by the time of your admission announcement. We allocate our fellows based on their industry preference, previous experiences, and their motive for joining IBI. 

What industry should I choose if I'm conflicted? 

You are free to select multiple industries in your application, but we recommend you limit your selection to maximum 3 for our smooth team matching process. Your team is also free to combine multiple industries for the final project if it's relevant to a common theme or job position.
